Custom  Wood Mounting

Wood Mounting is an Economical Alternative to Custom Framing.   Artwork is Vacuum Mounted to a custom sized board with beveled edges & painted the color of your choice.  

 

Bring in your artwork or complete our Wood Mounting Order Form to send with your art.    We'll mount it & ship it back to you! 

 

Since 1984, POSTERS ON BOARD  has offered a Wood Mounting alternative to picture framing. 

 

Artwork is vacuum-mounted to a board that’s been cut to size with beveled edges & painted the color of your choice.

An acrylic protective finish is applied on the surface to help protect the art & a sawtooth hanger is attached to the back for easy wall hanging.

​

There is no reflective glare of glass or chance of breaking glass, making it a very safe choice to display visual art.

Artwork Protection

Since there is no glass in front of the mounted art, we typically apply a protective, matte finish acrylic coating to the artwork's surface, making it resistant to dust, minor soiling & fading.

 

A fixative or gloss finish is also available.
